God bless AMERICA!
As you know our focus has been heavily on the Wild Islands and Europe these last years, but today I want to pay special honour to our relatives the Americans! Many of the prophetic fathers of our generation have come from the States and we are grateful for the impact they’ve had on these shores. It’s appreciated!
I was recently invited to a gathering of some of the senior & emerging prophets in Dallas hosted by Streams Ministries. It was two days of close friendship and engaging with God over some of the challenges this generation are facing.
I think it was one of the most interesting and constructive prophetic gatherings I have been to yet and a good sign that there is an international cross-pollination beginning which I think will blossom over the years and bring the different prophetic voices and their nations closer together. Something trans-generational. There seemed a genuine desire to dialogue and engage without forcing agreement, embracing difference. This is really good, really healthy! I was deeply impacted by the sincerity and kindness of the people. Grateful to have been a part.
In Washington DC, I was joined by wild woman herself Jane Shroeder and we dropped in on the infamous Tom & Sue’s House! A church community that meets in a home. A place well loved by Georgian Banov and John Scotland, a place wide open for the Spirit. I’d heard a lot about these guys so it was fun to finally be there.
I’ve got to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever had so much cheering for me to continue speaking. Those guys are like Winnie the Pooh in the honey pot! I love how vocal Americans are! Lots of joy joy joy! Think Jesus would like hanging out in this place!
I was so encouraged as Tom and Sue took us down the street to the food area to hear how the whole region had been changed. Years ago it was dangerous. Now there are people out walking and eating and there are new shops. When they moved into the area people thought it was crazy. People didn’t want to park their cars. Now it’s changed. It’s changed because their presence and love has made a difference. It’s changed permanently. God bless them! The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it! Light wins!
Onto Harrisonburg VA! As part of the trip I was really excited to reconnect with some old friends of ours Rick and Laurinda Peters. These guys are the real deal. We met years ago in Atlanta and we have stayed in touch since. They run a place called THE HUB.
Again just like we’ve seen in Scotland, Ireland, France, England and Germany there is a grassroots uprising taking place of hungry radicals which Rick and Laurinda are making space for. Real community being forged across the valley. A culture of love, respect and honour that is fostering and cultivating the supernatural and pushing the boundaries. I can’t tell you guys how much at home we felt with the HUB. Great community beyond the congregation meeting right in the heart of the university.
I think they stole some of my heart and planted it in Harrisonburg VA! These guys are heroes. If you’re anywhere close to Harrisonburg – you’ve got to connect up with these guys for real! Check out the HUB website.
There’s a whole lot more I could say but I just wanted to say how much we appreciate the USA. Thank you USA for sowing into our islands and Europe so many times over the last decades. Many voices have come and put some good seeds in the soil. The empire is over and a new generation is rising that want reality. In one generation I believe Christianity as we know it will be changed. Something new is slowly emerging. The seeds are sown. Holy Spirit is watering and protecting it until it’s ready. But it already making a difference. Our prayer is that what starts as a gentle stream will become a torrent. A time of reaping. A great day.

Days of AWE and WONDER
Here’s a challenge for all of us – being born into a Western world we like answers, science, understanding, GREEK thinking. We like to tick the boxes and know what’s going on around us. Explain this – explain that… explain explain explain! What ever happened to being like a child, enjoying the magic and mystery?
But the Bible says things like this -
“He (God) performs wonders than cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted!” Job 5:9
The truth is God bigger than our brains. He blows the grid. He is wonder- FULL.
“I am making an agreement with you. Before all your people I will do wonders NEVER before done in ANY nation of the world. The people who live among you will see how AWESOME is the work that I, the Lord will do for you!” Ex 34:10
He wants to startle and amaze us. Since when did church get so predictable and boring?
But check out the NEW testament – his wonders don’t stop in the old testament.
“Everyone was filled with AWE and many WONDERS and MIRACULOUS SIGNS were done by the Apostles” Acts 2:42-44
EVERYONE was filled with awe. Filled with AWE. God doesn’t stop showing off his goodness!
I like that word WONDERS!!! He he! I love it when Holy Spirit fries our minds and does unexpected, mind blowing things! Do you? Or are you a comfort seeker staying within what you know and can grasp?
In Acts 15:12 there is a fascinating gathering – Paul and Barnabas share in front of the crowds the stories from the road, the mission trip and what they saw and did. Wish I was there too. Bet it was one incredible meeting. But have you ever noticed what it actually says. It says they talked about the miracles and also the WONDERS. That word ‘wonders’ is TERAS from the word TERATOLOGY – which means the “Study of unexplainable phenomena”. So Paul and Barnabas came back sharing on unexplainable phenomena.
I think we are moving into that era again – an era of “TERAS”. I believe we are in DAYS of AWE and WONDER and it’s only going to become more interesting, more mysterious, more provoking. If we want a GOD we can understand we’ve reduced him to the size of the human mind! I think He’s much bigger than that! Listen to Bill Johnson -
“Mystery should be a continual part of your life. You should always have more questions that answers… A relationship with God that does not stir up that realm of mystery and wonder is an inferior relationship”
Wow! Papa Bill knows the stuff! I think we should embrace this truth. Make room for God to be himself and show off his style. He like to do that you know. He likes to be famous!
I’ll never forget the first time I had silver dust on my hands. I was shocked. The first gem stone I saw- amazed. The first time Angels came and touched me- freaked! The first time God took me in the Spirit to another nation. Seeing my own body from the outside. The first time I felt supernatural winds. Seeing lights flashing and flying around the room. The first time God took me to heaven.
I love it. I love the Gospel. I love that heaven comes down on earth. But that’s just the beginning. Rick Joyner says this -
“The Holy Spirit is about to move on the earth as He did in the beginning. He will take the chaos and confusion that are spreading across the earth & will bring forth the new creation right in the midst of it. You are about to enter the time when He will do WONDERS CONTINUALLY and the whole WORLD will be in AWE of his works.
Signs and wonders are not going away. It’s going to get stranger and more fearful. Days of pure bliss and wonder. Love it love it love it! Get ready to be stretched in 2012. A new era, a reformation has already begun.

Europe’s Day Rising…

Are we seeing a new revival rising in Europe? A joy revival?
What does it look like when heaven really shows up? Can we contain it?
Seems to me something supernatural is going on and then some. You can’t make this happen.
Are we on the verge of a great awakening? Is the future like the past?
Will the traditional church be offended by God when He comes in power? Do they want God to be God?
What would that look like and who would dare to let it happen?
We don’t know but I have a feeling we’re going to find out.
The future belongs to the courageous!
Unusual Angelic Presence in Godalming UK
Our team just hit Godalming England for three days before jetting off to Germany hosted by Jonathan Ely of Spirit Body Soul. Grassroots people gathering in a converted barn in the beautiful English countryside to pull on a new future for the region.
We are used to the joy and the party and there was lots of it at this event, but at times these gatherings also touched something very different, something we’ve been pulling for in Cardiff also- A holy awe that we’ve been sensing is coming for some time. Deep breakers washing over us shaking us to the core.
There was was one specific angelic being present that was eminating the glory of God. At times you could sense that new dimension we are seeking pressing down on us. Realms that bring awe and wonder. Something we have been longing for. Something we have not seen. Here’s one persons encounter -
“Great message last night, got totally taken out – angel wearing armour had his foot on my back, standing guard over true destiny. Felt he’s with you too, guarding your calling and also being assigned to those who hear, respond and are swept in. Saw that more and more are going to get pinned under his presence and receive divine commissioning to embrace obscurity and hiddenness… like a sausage on a coctail stick! It was truly deep last night, flooded into and fueled my heartcry to stay low.” Emma Joy
We also hit the streets. Part of the fun is touching people outside church who have never seen who have never heard. The love of God overmasters us and leaves us no choice but to go. Jesus is walking through the cities and streets of these islands & we’re following him! Love slaves spilling out extravagent his love on a lost generation.
We are massively expectant about the next time we return & seeing what takes place across the region through the new emerging ministires and hubs. It’s stirring.

We had the massive privilege of meeting Michele last October and it was a connection that was a Daddy set up! We connected on a heart level , spiritually, and most of all we have become great friends. We so honour Michele, and love what daddy is doing through her. She is the main Momma in Sudan Iris ministries. She has an incredible testimony and incredible stories of what Papa God is doing in and through her and the team in Sudan. Here are some of the signs and wonders Michele walks in day by day! Come along if you want to hear more…… it’s gonna be awesome fun, party time with Holy Spirit!
HOSPITAL: A lady had severe back pain and weakness. She could not move her back. The team laid hands on and prayed. One of our students hand’s began to burn and sweat with the fire of God. The woman was sweating all over and burning when finished. She was completely healed.
PRISON: The officials have been asking for prayer too. Our team prayed over each room because of evil tormenting spirits and the demons left. Many prisoners came forward to be released from the pains in their bodies. When they chose forgiveness these pains left.
HOSPITAL: A deaf woman with all over body pain is completely healed. The pain left and she could hear.
HOSPITAL: God is healing so many people, the hospital which was full the last 3-4 weeks is now almost empty. There were very few sick people left to pray for. The nurses have been thanking our teams and asking not only for prayer but for teaching to learn how to pray for their patients! They have felt like praying for their patients after watching us.
PRISON: Prayed for one man who was in pain all over his body. He had been in prison for 6 years falsely accused he says. The moment he chose to forgive his accuser the pain left with prayer.
HOSPITAL: This one is INCREDIBLE! There was a little 10 year old girl stabbed in the back of the brain by a SPLA bayonnette. Her whole body was seizing violently, eyes rolled back in her head, screaming in pain and the team prayed peace. She grew still immediately. One of the team took the witchcraft charms from her mother and the girl began to scream again. He got face to face with her and told her to repeat a prayer of choosing Jesus after him. SHE DID! Stabbed in the brain and then suddenly lucid and able to focus and pray out loud. She soon left the hospital healed.
HOSPITAL: A baby not able to see, who had terrible sores in his mouth. The team led the mom back to Jesus and the child’s eyes became instantly normal and vision was restored
WOW! c’mon Daddy!
We want to see these miracles, here in Wales, in the UK, Europe and beyond! Acts being acted out in the 21st century. This is what we live for….

Funny happenings afoot!
Something funny is going on in Wales…
I’ll keeping doing ministry if God keeps it funny and exciting! I think we can never challenge Papa enough to be Creative. He is the Creator after all. I’ve given Him the fun challenge. He’s never let me down yet! I’ve discovered He’s really really funny. Hilarious in fact. I’m beginning to think He invented comedy. When did church lose it’s sense of humour I wonder? Holy Spirit seems to have an endless supply of antics, funny-isms and playful joy. He’s a cheeky One! Like when Frank tried to kill me last week in France. It was hilarious. The team were in stitches. Who’d have thought demonic molestation could be so funny. Weird!
Anyway there is a point to this blog! Back to my story…
Last week Stephen McKie stayed with us following on from the France trip. Me and Stevie love talking about revival. We thought we’d engage with heaven together for a little bit more and spend time hanging out in the glory. Suddenly a random thought came to visit Moriah Chapel where the 1904 Welsh revival kicked off with Evan Roberts. We’d both been there many times and it always inspires. So off we went down the M4 to Lougher near Llanelli.
Now usually it’s all locked up in Moriah Chapel and you can’t get into the grounds – so we expected to just pray outside and maybe jump over the fence to see Evan’s grave (but don’t tell anyone!). But this time I couldn’t believe our luck (whoops naughty word) but the gate was open. In we went and noticed they had laid a brand new path to the church. I thought – wonder if the Sunday School room is open too? We tentatively approached the door and heard music playing. As we got closer we couldn’t believe our ears it was people laughing and singing Godfrey Birtill’s new song – It’s bubbling.
I looked at Stevie and thought “Am I really hearing this in Moriah?” He looked back eyes wide open. It felt dreamy all of a sudden. Stevie pushed the door open. We didn’t know who or what was going on. But inside was a group of young crazy people from Pontllanfraith TAB Church getting so high on Jesus! They were sloshed… singing… laughing… sprawled all over the place!
Drunk. Seriously… in Moriah Chapel of all places!!!
We walked in and sat at the back and couldn’t believe what we were seeing. It was a Holy Spirit hijacking of Moriah Chapel – and even weirder the woman who opened the church was up for it all too! She went off to the cupboard and got out a Shofar (Ram’s horn trumpet) she had hidden away under the revival memorabilia and started blasting it away (since when has Moriah had one of those stashed away!!! What would Evan think?). What a laugh. It was brilliant. Yeah Holy Spirit hijacks Moriah again!
Me and Stevie were like the cat that got the cream sitting on the benches trancing away. It was such a sign. The bliss, the joy, the party, this new move of the Spirit is rising and the door is open. Moriah (revival) is not closed anymore. There’s a new path been laid. It’s wide open. It’s here and rising. The sound is changing the party is breaking through. The old is blending with the new to release something unique and wild in the Land. It’s here! We were seeing a God-set-up sign in front of our eyes. A play set up for us to see, to see the signs.
After sometime of praying and buzzing me and Stevie drove home wondering did that just all happen? It was trippy like a dream. So much glory there. But in saying that most days seem glorious. Where did the last five years go? Easy to lose yourself in His Gaze.
Something’s going on and we LOVE it!!

A French Perspective…
Sebastian Winston and his wife Anne-Claire carry a BIG heart. I asked Sebastian what he felt after this weekend with our team, what is he seeing taking place in France. Here’s his response- check it out..
So, what are my feelings?
I am losing my grid for what we’ve known so far, I feel the need to learn to relate to others from the position of living in union with Christ, living in heaven and containing heaven.
I see a plowing of the old ground, mindsets being broken, thoughts being led captive to Christ, and wild demonstrations and preaching of the Gospel in our nation.
As Christ is being revealed in us by the Father, many will be led to simplify their lives, to slow down to allow Holy Spirit to completely reset their mindset and perspective of life and of the world around them.
One friend who was there last week-end was twice prophesied over that there would be a shift in his job in order for Papa to take him further in the new. It seems that he is actually going to be fired in a few months. I had him on the phone last night, he told me he’s ready to leave everything, everything he’s known is falling apart and he’s at last coming to the knowledge of the true Good News. He’s gonna come over to our house to hang out, quit his efforts, and let Papa wash over him with His love and grace, and ignite new dreams in his heart !
My heart now is in fathering fathers and mothers and harvesting harvesters, to see Christ formed again and firmly established in many who have been bewitched and severed from a life of Grace.
I can definitely see glory communities forming in France around this revelation of the Cross, people who will actually reach out in honor and love to the established churches, but who will not back up and be contained by the status quo.
Heaven is at hand, we’re sojourner in this society, why lower the standard and be stuck here when our Lord opened a limitless portal for us to live in the Father’s heart ?
Too many forerunners throughout history carried aspects of this reality in our nations and around the world, we cannot be unbelieving and dull anymore, our hearts must burn at least for what they had.
There’s a beautiful thing that’s gonna happen in our nation : people will discover the way of truly giving up their lives. Not the religious self beating up, bound by fear and condemnation, but rather the sweet trusting abandonment to our union to Christ’s death and resurrection, with the unshakable knowing that Father God has risen us up by His glory and now sees Jesus in us !
An absolute satisfaction in our union with Christ, a holy obsession, a holy and blissful possession !
Many will function with creative wisdom in society, but will be walking by faith and not by sight, being more aware of their union with Christ and all of Heaven contained inside them than of the surrounding natural world. It will be an offense to the rational humanistic idol in the mind of our nation, Lol !!!
As far as I’m concerned… I am gonna be drinking and serving and learning to love and enjoying friendship with God and with the people He’s put around me… Nobody ever won a nation or a single soul by striving, so let’s crank up the party and let our bellies rip open to let it out ! Hahaha !

France… ummm.. well… it was nuts!!
Major changes shaping up!
Are you feeling the glory? There is something unusual going on. Waves of the Spirit breaking in. We are hearing reports from different places. Are we on the verge of a great shift, another degree of heaven manifesting amongst us adding to the glory, joy and intoxication that is already here? Heaven always expands. The last few weeks have been exceptional.
But more on that in a future blog…
Back to France: Massive encouragement!
Since last time over in France this emerging movement has not only been consolidated but matured. Some of the young people are beginning to emerge in their own right as voices and parents to a new generation of Franch fire carriers. We are stepping back to make space for them to move forwards. Sebastien Winston is one of these new faces. A true lover of the gospel with a kind Father’s heart and explosive joy. He spoke in one session and it was sweet. Also Charly Carpet a young woman who was impacted last year and spent the whole time since soaking in the word, drinking the gospel, encountering Jesus. Charly shared on grace and it was Spirit inspired a flow from heaven. I don’t think she even opened her eyes the whole talk! These guys carry it.
There are many more like them on the way. You could see them opening up and changing right in front of your eyes. Eventually the few will become a tide a powerful flow that will change the landscape forever and release the destiny of a generation. They are here.
Jesus parties hard!
It was one heck of a party weekend. Never seen Stephen so whacked! We laughed all the time.
French people are wild when God grips them. They dance like I’ve never seen in any other nation. The joy, glory, dance, passion was all explosive and so expressive. The presence came so thickly over and over again. The glory was so heavy at times well beyond functioning. One of our team got whacked in the bushes rolling in the mud. Messy bliss!
Jane Schroeder spoke the second night and blew it up. Jane is the bomb! We spent hours and hours after it just basking in the manifest resting glory. People were lost in Papa. I think we could have stayed up all night it was so rich.
Something is breaking. Cracks are appearing. Small signs of a big new day for Europe. I honestly don’t think there’s any going back for this generation. How can they? They have tasted of the age to come and that reality changes you’re perceptions of God forever. You can see it in their eyes. Messed up for life. Addicted and intoxicated with something beyond just Christian events, the reality of Papa’s burning heart of love. That kind of fire doesn’t go away. It follows you.
The Lion Lyon
We went to Lyon as part of our journey walking the land – which ended up being just dancing and singing in the rain between Starbucks hits! Not warfare but joyfare! The heavier the places we went the more we laughed. We were overjoyed! Singing in the new singing out the old. Whacked up on the endless bliss of a Loving Daddy. I don’t think some of our French friends understood this but we know it was what Papa wanted. We live from another reality not earth.
There in Lyon I saw a man and felt such love for him. I approached him and smiled. His face lit up. We asked him if we could bless him or pray for something he needed. I was amazed by his response. He asked us to pray for France as a nation and to release joy and prosperity and that people would be happy. I felt permission was given right from the land – we had the key. I later realised he’d been standing under a literal glowing key shaped light. All weekend God kept showing me keys and the number 33 (in the carpark, by the road, on the wall) – which speaks to me personally of destiny and fulfilling the mandate of heaven. It’s a personal sign from Papa. Keys and 33 where all over the place. I guess Holy Spirit likes to show off!
In fact I went into a shop and bought an umbrella to dance in the rain and the woman gave me a gift of a leather key holder as an extra. I was about to give it away when God spoke to me and said it was a sign! Doh almost missed it! We are becoming key holders. Can you get you’re head around that? I can’t! Must go lower and lower and see them go higher and higher. Down is up.
Catholic Crypt gathering
We got to speak in a Catholic church to a mixed group of evangelicals and catholics a crypt in Lyon. It was where the Catholic Charismatic move started in the 1960s that touched many Catholic people. A womb!
It was a tricky situation for us. Balancing honour with being wild fire and free. We were asked to go easy on them and give them a taste of the wine. How the heck do you do that? It’s not a tame fire!
Somehow Daddy took the reigns and we managed to release the full passion, joy and fire without hurting or damaging anyone. They felt out hearts. The response was brilliant. Dreams awakened. Faith released.
I was so grateful. They wanted us to stay. The team was brilliant praying for them all.
Maybe we’ll go back one day…
So much to tell you!
I wish you could see and feel what we’re seeing. It’s not more of the past. God is moving in new ways and it’s growing year by year. You can see how the future is not going to be the same. It’s exciting and gives you butterflies in your belly! My body shakes inside me often. I tremble. And it’s all God’s fault!!
We laughed for hours and cried. We were attacked (literally a demonized man tried to strangle me after a voice told him to kill me- it was quite funny actually) and persecuted by those who didn’t understand what they saw and heard. But in it all God is moving like an incoming tide that cannot be stopped nor held back. We are bold because our message does not come from men but above. Heaven is happy!
We feel so fortunate to be alive, to be seeing what is taking place, a day of awe and wonder where whole nations will be won. We are so happy. So amazed to be here right at the beginning of the day of fulfilment of decades and even centuries of Promise. Ancient paths meeting new springs, new rhythms.
So where to we go from here?
Europe is wide open and our hearts have been sown into the soil. We were just in Spain. We’re back in Paris in April. This time to minister to some of the most wonderful courageous leaders who are pushing the boundaries. Deep drinking. In the meantime we are off to Scotland, England and then Germany. We would love for you to join us. It is life changing watching and tasting His Spirit the Wild Spirit working. I feel these events will open a door from which we can never come back. It feels that pivotal right now. There is an overshadowing here to take us beyond conferences and events. Something deeper, more profound is taking place. What that looks like only God knows but we say let it come Lord. We are willing.

We’re back from Spain
We had a wonderful time away replenishing with friends, drinking in the culture and seeking Papa. Spain is marked by heaven and our hearts are burning for it.

This truly is Europe’s day – Germany, France, Spain, the UK together are shifting. It may seem small in human terms but an avalanche begins with a few flakes of snow a slight breeze that’s all it takes to begin a great change, a great movement. We are excited to see the stirring on the mainland and the islands that are the first fruits of years or prophetic words and prayer. Significant times of beginning to landscape and blueprint a new future a new reality. It is coming and the convergence of streams and nations has only just began. I see acceleration at the door and a different outcome.
Back to wild rugged Wales. We’re back tonight with Spirit School to experiment in making space for Jesus, breathing in the air of heaven, drinking the reality of the finished work of the cross, engaging with the mystic realities of God. It may be messy. We can’t guarantee it will answer you’re questions. It’s a shack – but God is in the shack to hug us to Himself and change our world.
Tonight we have special guests Matthew & Pearl Nagy from Horsham England.
Mat and Pearl worked as part of a worship team called ‘The Cession’ which made some waves around the UK and are now pioneering the Glory Company Band and Gatherings. They play at a number of large and small events and also lead a local Glory School and Glory Party gatherings in their hometown of Horsham England. These guys love the glory realm (which is the intimate revelation of God – his weighty tangible presence with us) and are true Pioneers stretching the church into the future. We trust them completely and are standing with them to see what they carry explode and grow to new dimensions in the coming years.

Spirit Bay Revival hits UK press
UK national newspaper Daily Mail reports…
“It’s a miracle! After 23 years in a wheelchair, woman walks again and says it is all down to spiritual healing”
The revival in Bay of the Spirit USA has hit the national news today. The Daily Mail newspaper reports…
“I wasn’t going to let anyone take this away from me and I knew this was my night to walk out of the chair.
‘I walked and walked and walked and felt I had entered another realm. I ended up on the floor and someone was touching my legs and I could feel my knees for the first time. They were bending and clicking into place.’
The footage, which has been viewed by 200,000 on YouTube, shows her being prayed for and lifted out of the wheelchair by the healer during a visit to the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival in Mobile, Alabama.
People weep and clap as she stands up and independently moves her legs to make her way through the crowd, her steps steadied by two suited men.

Ever wondered what would happen if you took some crazy risks, took some chances in life and just went trusting God to show up and move through you with miracles?
After a dream from God, I led a team to Africa just wanting to see the real stuff of the book of Acts. With our small team – Stephen, Cathy, Jane, Jenny, Gerry – we just took a leap into the unknown and found Jesus was waiting there for us. In this video you will see some of the things that happened on our wild adventure. We’re were amazed by God. Hope our story inspires you. Miracles are for you, your children and for everyone Jesus calls into his family. You were born to burn and born to shine. You were made to be a wonder.
God says the UK and Europe is going to pop wide open just like places like Kenya. We will see on these shores the same wonderful demonstrations of the reality of heaven. God is coming out of hiding and hijacking his church. There’s no going back once you’ve tasted this reality. You begin to believe. Did you realise you are a miracle waiting to happen! You’ve just got follow Jesus and when he says – let it out.

I seek a real, non-religious, bible loving, experiential, full-on, questioning, missional, chillaxed, trinity loving family to be part of…… maybe we are being called to call to gather such…? Thannx 4 passing the article on – loved the line “Christianity must have a marvelous inherent power, or the churches would have killed it long ago.” – In the Western Church (esp. in Europe), whilst we have witnessed a steady decline in numbers and influence in society during our life time, we know that despite any failings of us or our ancestors,that marvelous inherent power is with us – on this basis I have hope for Europe!! I see God at work, putting flesh on some dry bones, much thanks these likely lads!”

“This is so encouraging on many levels, it’s a very brave article for someone in the emergent scene, as he rightly points out, it’s often a head orientated detached intellectual debate that is often devoid of spiritual experience or even acknowledgement of the miraculous, so to say there is something to be learned from the mystics is very encouraging, but also I think it swings the other way too, there is a lot of good stuff to be learned from their dialogue too, especially in their breakdown of the power structures and how they function. I for one have learned a lot from entering that discussion. What is most encouraging is the lack of name calling and finger pointing, (except the Doug Pagitt jibe) it shows there is a hunger and a humility and unity growing, wouldn’t it be great to see the various strains of emerging church gather in unity. I’ve been thinking for some time there are various streams “emerging” The teachers, the activists, the prophetic, the apostolic, the simple church movement, the evangelistic etc…..(Not an exhaustive list) I can’t wait to see them all collide and see the power of a united church take the high places.”
